Traditional second brain systems fail because they ask us to do cognitive work at exactly the wrong moment - they ask us to decide where a thought belongs when walking into a meeting, to tag it when driving, to name it properly when going to bed, and to choose folders in taxonomy when you just want relief and someone else to do the organizing.
