Education Is Not About Acquiring Opinions

Education is not about figuring out which opinion to hold or being exposed to diverse opinions; because most things are complicated, mastering or understanding something deeply is fundamentally different from choosing a banner or flag to get under—opinion-seeking may build community or activism but it is not education.
